作客户意思讲时customer和account有何不同?

customer讲究的是人的一面，account讲究的是公司、帐户管理的一面。

譬如广告公司把客户作为一个一个account来管理，所以客户代表叫account executive, 不能叫customer executive。

客户服务通常都叫customer service，只有广告公司叫account service。他们所侧重的重点是不同的。

一般的商业情境和学术环境（单指marketing science 学科）下，customer 只出现在服务业或体验型消费，个人理解是因为对于去旅馆开房去移动营业厅之类的服务说它被consume(消耗)了总感觉有点奇怪。consumer 就指买普通商品，当然意义也更广些。这也是为何我们说的客服部都是customer service dept. ，消费满意度调查（多见于服务行业）叫customer satisfaction.

2. consumer

a person who buys goods or uses services

购买商品或接受服务的人

3. customer

a person or an organization that buys something from a shop/store or business
